SORRY! was on hiatus for almost a week already :/
CNY this year was fattening---literally. It was non-stop eating for my family for the entire period of celebrations. As much as I told myself not to eat too much junk, the love of pineapple tarts just got the better of me. So yeahhh, I have to admit that I ate quite a fair bit of those sinfully good cny goodies. yayyy. And for the first time in my 16+ years, I actually sat down at my table and mugged. What kind of holiday is that man?! haiya, but no choice, I had to mugg for a chem test that I knew I would flunk -.-" sigh. Quite demoralizing actually, mugged so hard for it, but yet I couldn't do at least half the entire paper. [UPDATE: HHB collected my results for me, and well I did better than my expected six-points. Got 8/25 (:] alright, I've got to get a chem tutor fast. First chemistry test of the year, and I flunked it, real badly in fact.
RGS Student Leaders' Investiture. A year has passed since I went up on stage to have my shiny black badge pinned on my PSB vest. I was proud to be given the opportunity to take on that post, but yet I knew it wasn't going to be easy. Having been entrusted with the huge responsibility of leading a 80 member strong board. Truthfully, nothing during my year of office went right, both in work and personal life. Friction with teachers and well, friends..... just don't wanna talk about it. However, after stepping down for almost 4 months now and looking back, I'm really appreciative of the time I had being v-chair of PSB. It moulded me into the person I am today, stronger willed and more appreciative of the friends and family members who supported me throughout the ordeal <3 When I saw tammy (my mentee) walk up on stage to receive her badge, a sense of warm satisfaction overwhelmed me. I have succeeded in honing a new leader, a successor who would continue to bring PSB to greater heights.
To tammy: I'll always be here for you. Since you've made the decision to take on another portfolio as secretary-treasurer of SLN, I'll give you my full support (: I'll be here riding the waves with you
